Spectrum of Being

At Insidejob Production we were lucky to be a part of a very special project – the art installation Hū: The Spectrum of Being.
Carlos Serrao was commissioned by Samsung and creative agency R/GA to develop this interactive installation at the Samsung 837 space in New York’s Meatpacking District.
The installation consists of a LED lined promenade guests can walk through. As the guest moves through the space four long exposure photograps shot by a Samsung S7 phone capture the person’s movement. After exiting the tunnel, a digital photograph is then sent to each guest via email.
Insidejob Production facilitated this project organizing test shoots prior to the installation, sourcing equipment, booking crew for install etc.
Hū: The Spectrum of Being is still on show in the 837 space.
